Can you see me?
A wise soul once said, "If you can't be seen, how can you be loved?"
Being seen has been a theme for most of my life. I've worked exceptionally hard throughout my career but always comfortable behind the scenes — writing, coaching, interviewing, programming, and producing.
As coach, I know the number one hindrance to change — the fear of what the unknown may bring. So I did what every self-help guru says you shouldn’t — I hid. I hid from opportunities. I hid from meeting new people. And I also hid from myself. But this year the tone is different. I decided to take the bold step and not hide any longer.
I just launched my new video podcast series on resilience and have already recorded 26 episodes! These video podcasts will be released twice a month on my YouTube channel, vlog, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
Here’s a clip. Tell me what you think. I hope that it inspires you to be more visible.
Every Monday morning at 10 AM EST I will post a powerful prompt and follow it wherever it leads. The aim is to resource all "three brains" — head 🧠, heart 💓, and gut 🤰 — in hopes of connecting the dots to those sticky parts in our nature that matter.
As a syndicated columnist for Authority Magazine and Thrive Global, I have interviewed nearly 175 cancer survivors from all walks of life. In my #1 best-selling book, I Survived Cancer and Here Is How I Did It, I share the true stories of 35 of those survivors and what they learned physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually from this very difficult experience which has forever shaped their worldview. The intention is to tell a survivor story — that cancer is not an ultimate death sentence. Help support this movement by purchasing and sharing this book.
